No doubt that Roy Jones thinks that he is getting the winner of this fight. Hell, he has called it a "box off" to face him.

If Tarver wins, I say him and Johnson do it again, then the winner can fight Jones. If Johnson wins he can go ahead and fight Jones later this year.

the cruiserweight division may not be very prestigious, but there's been very talented guys come out of it in recent years, look at the three guys who left it recently, james toney, jirov, and juan carlos gomez, then you have holyfield who's a legend, being prestigious dosn't mean ****.

Juan Carlos Gomez got KTFO in one round against Yanqui Diaz.

Adamek isn't in these guys' league. Neither is Paul Briggs. Tarver could have easily defended his belt against Briggs, but obviously there was money, and even more prestige in losing (though I thought he won) to Glen than beating Briggs...

I saw Adamek vs. Briggs...it would have been a decent ShoBox undercard, but I think Roy Jones (who was getting ready for HBO TV) probably was looking in the ring, thinking, "I could take both these guys..."

              ...if that even comes off.

Either guy who wins, might get an HBO deal anyway (I don't know how long either guy is signed, if it's beyond this fight).

Lacy is a Showtime fighter, and if Calzaghe would upset him (lol - I said upset - leave that alone, usual suspects...), then I imagine they would try to work something with him, too (Showtime's the only network I've seen Joe fight on in the United States)

I imagine Lacy/Calzaghe is a Showtime event, if it comes off...
