JMM picked apart Manny coming straight down the pike on him. Manny has never fought anyone with Floyds balance, speed and accuracy. Floyd made JMM look slow. How can the Pac Man deal with Mayweathers straight right? I think itll be in his face all night keeping him off balance and breaking his rythm.. Ummm. Did you see the Zab Judah fight? He was a southpaw ,and he got blasted with laser straight rights from the 4th round on keeping him off balance and his speed is on par with Pacquios! Easy work for Floyd is Paquio!

Mayweather dropped first 2 rounds on 2 cards after getting outlanded 11-5 in power shots in opening 6 minutes. Start of round 3 All Floyd from then on, as he outlanded Judah 153-53 in power shots, including 28-2 in the 9th. Floyd played some “D” as well, as Judah landed in single digits in total connects in 10 of 12 rounds.

Floyd's right hand will be one of his weapon but it wont be as effective as people think against Pac because there is a wider gap between him and the opponent who is fighting as a southpaw. Floyd's likes to make that counter overhand punch after his opponent throws and misses a left jab, which is a perfect counter punch for a jab against a fighter who fights in an orthodox stance. But guess what, Pac will be throwing his jab with his right hand.

People keep going back to JMM fight without even analyzing why JMM was so effective with that right hand.. He was effective because he would wait for Pac to initiate and lunge his left hand (his power hand), and when Pac does it, he takes one step back, make Pac misses, and then return fire with his right hand to Pac's head or body..He did that all night long..

But guess what, Pac doesn't lunges his punches that much in recent fights anymore. He pivots and side steps so that his left hand (power hand) has direct aim to the fighter's head or body..

And then you refer to Zab fight as if that would make the difference. Zab and Pac are both southpaws but thats the only thing that they have in common. Pac is more mobile and implements more movement in his attack than Zab, who by the way, when gets tired, would prefer to fight in the pocket.

More movement = More opportunity for Floyd to land. Mosley is faster than PAC in some regards and Mayweathers straight right was in his face before he could even blink. Granted mosley fights conventionally but this is impressive to me nonetheless.. Landing the straight right against Judaen more impressive for as you said, Zab started to cover up and Floyd found the openings despite Judah hanging and covering up in the pocket. we disagree with this issue, but I want to thank you for an excellent thought provacative analyisis. only one way well know for sure. if this fight doesnt get made it will be a tragedy!

why would you compare floyd and manny with superman and kryptonite? and besides we wont ever know what will happen when floyd and manny fight...its unpredictable because anything can happen...look at shane vs floyd...shane actually rocked floyd in the 2nd round...no one was expecting that so we dont actually know what can happen untill they both fight...predictions can be made but also can be proven wrong
