He's got a little bit of a southern accent that's hard to pick up sometimes but his insight is great and I think HBO should have at least 1 former fighter on their network. Also, RJJ on HBO and Tarver on Showtime... That's pretty cool.

I think Roach is a decent move because of all the experience, history, and insight that he brings but the guy is busy as **** and has Parkinsons which could get worse.

He is much better than Roach who is polarizing and bias. Roach is not the right guy. But i am sure there is too much water under the bridge for Jones to come back.

A good pick is SRL if he is willing to come back. Other fighters to consider are Buddy Mcgirt or Pernell Whitaker.

They let RJJ go because he wasn't showing up (or showing up late) the meetings and they found him hard to work with. They probably aren't going to be bringing him back unless their real desperate.
