I'm the first to say merchant and Lampley suck ass but the colour of the commentating team sure as **** doesn't bother me - don't you start bringing that politically correct nonsense into boxing ok!

i dont think roach is a good choice at all bcuz of his stuttering and whatnot. if they want a trainer pick brother ****m. id prefer a fighter though, hopkins would be awesome, roy too. just dont put them on air togheter lol

tyson in theory would be a good choice, but i he was a guest commentator for hopkins-mercado II and didnt really do a good job. maybe he would be better now who knows, he is very knowledgeable. but if they really did fire lewis rather than him resigning, and they went and hired tyson instead lennox would probably be pissed

Again, sorry to offend, but I want some diversity in the announcing team. If you haven't noticed, the majority of the commentating teams on the major networks already provide that (for nearly every sport). I'd really advise that you don't spazz out over my opinion but suit yourself.

From all the crap he's been spewing from his mouth, it seems that it wasn't only Pacquiao that was campaigning for a job! On the other hand, Lewis was a terrible commentator, he needed to be fired earlier.
