true .. lampley, merchant, roach, and the pointless letterman will be a awful combo... now that i mention it, what is the point of harold letterman? i mean honestly, why does his opinion matter, who cares who he feels is winning the fight, he shouldve got booted with lennox. i agree with most here, hopkins would be a great fit in there, emanuel steward sucks too, he hates on floyd just like merchant, and im sick of hearin him say "i knew this would happen all along" in every fucckin fight, but he picked baldomir to beat mayweather

Tyson is also very knowledgeable about boxing and knows his history.

Only heard Tarver couple times... but sounds good. Or lets go left-field and HBO import Enzo Calzaghe.

Thats what all networks need, people who are exciting, that get passionate, rather than like you say sit and read from a sheet of paper!

They need to bring somebody that was a recent professional fighter, that's why (ill admit Lewis wasn't anything special) Jones and Foreman knew what they were talking about. If you watch Gatti-Mayweather, RJJ lays it out very well, he explains what the fighter did or didn't do and even goes kinda 'play by play' in the fight. Foreman was awesome too. also tarvar doesn't do too bad on shobox. Nothing against Roach but speaking from a jouranlistic/broadcast standpoint, he wouldn't be so tv savvy, I'm not saying he doesn't know his ****, but it would be kinda awkward. RJJ is the best choice - and if he doesn't feel like going to the meetings will then HE DOESN'T HAVE TO!

HBO hired Lewis as an expert analyst for their televised shows four years ago. It was revealed on Friday, by Lewis, that he gave notice to the network and was leaving to concentrate on his personal ventures. Multiple sources have reported otherwise. They report Lewis was let go by the network and they refused to renew the former champion's contract. They were not pleased with his level of work during their televised broadcasts.
