I think this is the real reason right here. I mean you can say you don't wanna overtrain, but fact is he peak for the berto bout and had to start over again (in training). This is the biggest fight of his career, so he had to balance between preparing to be at his best vs not overtraining. Floyd was a huge threat, so as much as he didn't wont to overtrain, I believe he still did, just based on Floyd being as great as he is and Shane knowing he had to take his game to another level.
Teddy Atlas just speculated that Mosley's poor performance was due to...

You're not scaring me with your little temper tantrum my man. I've read your reasoning behind your position, but I've dismissed it because it's petty and doesn't hold weight. You sound like a crybaby mad at someone for expressing opinions that you don't want to hear. The fact of the matter is that Atlas was asked to express his thoughts and feelings on the fight, and that's what he did. You don't have to agree with how he feels about what he saw because it was his opinion, not yours. He didn't come out and accuse Mosley of anything, he simply offered a possible explanation for how Mosley looked during the fight. It's quite possible that this was the first fight that Mosley has entered the ring PED-free for awhile, and that's the reason he looked gassed, sluggish, or whatever. I've already said that I don't necessarily agree with that explanation because I think that all of Mayweather's opponents eventually look like Mosley did when they fight him. That doesn't change the fact that Atlas's speculation could possibly be true.
I think that the real reason that people like you have a problem with Atlas's comments is because they highlight the need for more stringent drug testing in boxing, and Pacquiao(this website's hero) is currently on the wrong side of that argument.
Sorry bro, but as much as you want me to, Im not gonna go back n forth with you. Like I said, coming on this site with the sole purpose of starting flame wars is some loser ****. Have a nice day and get a life......peace

Mosley lost a lot of points in my book with the way he went out that night. I hate to say it, but he's gotta go out on a good note for me to really have respect for his career. Every elite undefeated boxer he's lost to. I wouldn't be kicking dirt on him if he didn't do his best to try to fall apart like Zab Judah. But it's like he showed no heart at all in that fight.Comment

I don't know who you're trying to fool, but there was no need for you to take the time to tell me that you're not going to respond. Simply not responding would have done the trick. You remind me of a b*tchy female who has to have the last word even though she has nothing to say. I actually think that you're doing me a favor. Thanks.Comment

I doubt Mosley been on roids his whole career cause he looked pretty slow in the Cotto fight and he did`nt look that sharp in the Mayorga fight and he tired quickly in both those fights.
Atlas is just an idiot.I want be surprised if he`s trying to get publicity for himself or trying to discredit Floyd. He did say he hopes Mosley knocks out Floyd you know.Comment

He tired in the middle rounds and got a second wind late in the fight.Comment
