I think Pac came out and tried to catch Cotto before he warmed up, kind of like Judah did (and it happened at 140 too). After Cotto was using his technique and movement and catching Pac coming in, PAc came out in the second round boxing and countering Cotto's jab and left hook. He caught Cotto solid with several counters in round 2. In round three, Pac went up against Cotto and against the ropes kind of like Ali against Foreman, making Cotto put alot of energy in wide hooks and lose his energy. Then Cotto was frustrated and started lunging in and overcomitting to his punches. Pac countered him out of position and hurt him. The fight was pretty much done there.

I thought those first 4 rounds are great. If you really pay attention you can see Pac hurting Cotto by countering his best punches repeatedly. Even the combo in round three that knocked Cotto down came a few seconds after Cotto threw a jab (or double jab I don't remember) and was countered with a stiff shot.

I'm pretty sure you know of Echols, was a middleweight ****ger, and I'm not sure if it was Hopkins/Echols 1 or Hopkins/Echols 2 where Hopkins stated he had a fractured shoulder and he changed his routine from that point forward and fought exclusively on the inside not giving Echols any range to get off his shots.

You know, Timothy BRadley against Lamont Peterson. Bradley came out strong and being the smaller man he was doing well on the inside but after Peterson got knocked down he got back up and started putting some real heat on his body shots and fighting like a mother****er on the inside. Bradley switched it up and started outboxing him.

ricky hatton adjusted beautifully by deciding to take a nap in the middle of the ring when he figured out he was infinitely inferior to mayweather and pacquiao.
