Why has Cotto stayed with Arum?

    Why has Cotto stayed with Arum?

    Arum has thrown him under the bus several times and disrespected him. He did it with Margs and then with Pac. Putting them ahead of Cotto. Why didnt Cotto ever try and buy out his contract or let it expire and sign with someone else?

    Any thoughts?

                  IDK.. I'm sure the money was right. I remember he was "playing golf" with Oscar De La Hoya in PR. I'm sure Oscar made an offer and Arum made a better one because a week or two later he re-signed with Arum. I'm sure Arum threatened to take the Pac fight off the table.

                          I heard that Arum is feeding a past it cotto to yuri foreman because Arum wants to make foreman look like the next coming of mayweather jr. Arum is mad at Cotto for threatening to leave him awhile back. The old man would be delighted if his own blood line beat a puerto rican who is past it.

                          Cotto is the man, but he should have left Bob Arum a long time ago. Bob Arum is a douchebag.

                                  Arum hasn't been that bad to Miguel, Cotto got severely beaten in his last fight and his next fight is in Yankee stadium for a title against Yuri

                                      I just find it hard to believe that he would stay with him after the way Arum has treated him.

                                      I bet he regrets staying with him. If he would have signed with GBP he would have been a little more protected and not the sacrifical lamb that Arum uses him as.

                                      He made good change with Pac but he could have still had that fight down the road and probably a mayweather fight and a mosley rematch
                                      that right there would be about 30 mil for him if not more
