    He'll get smoked against Martinez.

I'm sorry but if you honestly believe floyd came in at 146 against shane you're on crack.

Floyd used to be a small WW. But over the years he's filled into his WW body very nicely. Dude is definitely over 150 and then some right now.

Floyd would look the same at MW as he does at WW. The only difference is that his opponent would be bigger. Against Martinez, I don't think the weight would be a huge factor since Martinez isn't a heavy-handed knockout artist and he doesn't do a lot of clinching and wrestling. Martinez's height and reach might actually be bigger advantages for him than his weight.

Because *****s want him to compete with Manny's incredible champion in 7 different weight classes.

Floyd at 160 will be like what Pac is doing now at 147. Floyd won't dominate like Pac, I doubt it.

And, although he may be a 'bit' slower... the guys above welterweight are also slower themselves.

                Not that Martinez is slow.
Martinez is a beast. Any man who can compete with PWilliams work rate and literally knock the snot out of him (gross) is a freaking machine.

He would enter the ring at 154 to 155.

                    I agree with this.

The size difference will hurt Floyd at 160. Martinez will weigh in 160 and fight at 170-180. Floyd has the skill to win but at that high of a weight, I wouldn't expect him to win.

If the fight is at 154, then I give Floyd the edge because regardless of how slick Martinez is, your not going to outbox Floyd.

fight should be contracted at 154 so that both the jr MW and MW titles are on the line. but floyd is around 160 lbs in fight night
