Berto ain't perfect, but let's not get carried away. Berto would just offer too much for any current 140 pounder, and wouldn't get credit for winning since their 140 pounders. His chin isn't iron clad, but it's not glass, and Berto's toughness would help him recover I think. Quintana's a slick southpaw, and was a young fighters first fight in 11 months. I do think it might be best if Berto changed trainers, but I still think he’ll show some improvement in his next fight. Especially if it’s an orthodox fighter. I don't think you can say the book is closed on Berto. The only fighter I would be certain of beating Berto is May and Pac. That includes Mosley and Cotto, though those guys could certainly beat Berto. Though a loss could be best for Berto if it encourages him to change trainers.
What boxers out there do you feel people are sleeping on?

That's a 100 pages worth of arguements right there. I'd rather not bother arguing that.
And people are sleeping on Victor Ortiz.Comment

I still think Victor Ortiz has a lot of upside. After Campbell, I'd put him in their with Guzman after he beats Casamayor. After that, he's ready for a rematch with Maidana, or the three curent champs. A year from now, I could maybe see VC upseting Alexander. And, VC might be a better welter then a junior welter because of his size, though I expect all the top junior welters to move up some time. I wouldn't sleep on him.Comment

folks will keep throwing the quitter sht in his face until he proves otherwise but im a firm believer that he is still the goods.
he just better make his mark at 140 soon before its too late. he might have already outgrown the division.
i got plenty of prospects in mind, but i'll just stick to established fighters. people are sleeping on donaire. people keep pointing out his ****ty resume, but 115 was a horrible division. he stuck around cuz he wanted the belts, but the fights just didnt get made. he's extremely skilled though with good pop, great footwork and speed.Comment
