Ofcourse his not the one who gives the green light, but you don't think they may ask him what he thinks. You don't know what goes behind the close doors. He might not be the guy who makes the call. You don't know who is directing. We can speculate, But what we do know for a fact is Roach thought Shane was too good before Floyd whooped Shane's ass.

but remember Roach was adamant and very vocal againts the idea of Pacquiao fighting Barrera in 2003.
Im assuming that you like boxing in general and i assume you realize that Pacquiao will fight anybody his promoter put in front of him including king kong. and that is the current Pacquiao who is already well known.
The up and coming version of Pacquiao will demand fights. Targeting the biggest names. If Mosley was on top and within his division Pac will call him out.Comment

shane totally gassed after 1 and a half rounds and was just throwing arm punches the rest of the fight or total telegraphed 1 shot bombs that had no chance at landing. he even got walked down by pillow-fisted mayweather after 2 rounds cause floyd knew mosley had nothing on his punches anymore. it was sad to see and pac would have beat the stuffing out of him for the rest of the fight which probably would last about 6 or 7 rounds before the ref or ****m saves mosley.Comment

Shane got gassed almost immediately after landing his best shot of the night, WAAAAAAY before Floyd took him to counter-punch class.
I like both fighters. But If this same Mosley showed up to fight Pac, the ref stops it by the 8th. Or maybe Brother Naazim stops it himself by the 7th-8th.Comment

Shot fighters, regardless of styles, dont knockout champions like Mosley did to Margarito, thats a fact. when you are shot, you are losing to guys like kevin mcbride, trevor berbick and joey archer.
Seriously, this is a major downplay on mayweathers win. Mosley is not shot at all, hes past his best, but truthfully from what i have seen in mayweathers last two fights, floyd has also lost a step, but hes a bit fresher.

shane was made to look better than he really is vs the worst version of margarito i have ever seen. margarito was suffering the ill effects of the cotto fight & could be physically shot & it didnt help that he got caught with plaster before the fight making him also mentally shot.
dont forget shane was 2 fights removed from struggling for 12 rounds vs a carcass known as ricardo mayorga.
dont lie to yourself & think shane is still elite because he's not. he hasnt been elite in years no matter how high ring magazine puts him p4p.Comment
