According to Golzka, quoting British promoter Frank Warren, welterweights Kell Brook (20-0, 14 KOs) and Michael Jennings (36-2, 17 KOs) will clash on July 3 on British soil. The fight has been planned a few times in the past and continually postponed. Warren plans to make an official announcement, with the venue, in a couple of days. Brook, 24, is a fast rising star in the British welterweight ranks. He is close to being in a ranking position to get a shot at the WBO title, held by pound-for-pound fighter Manny Pacquiao.
