Gatti pre and post Gatti-Ward I are different fighters so it's hard to compare.
The old Gatti would never train and was so overweight and had to shed like 10-15 pounds to make weight. He would even party all night up in NY for years, I heard he stay up alll night after training up to the week of the fight. He get coked up and sleep with all these different women. That why he looked slow and had to take a beating. After Ward I he realized he end up brain dead at the end of his carrer and changed. Got settled down so no more loose women, no drugs, and cut down the partying.
Gatti is a smart fighter. He knows he will have to brawl. Everyone is ask which Gatti will show up? The boxer or brawler. Well everyone must think McGirt is that dumb and he'll make Gatti outbox Maywether? Please, Gatti knows he can't and McGirt the same. I don't think he'll brawl the whole fight, a little of both to surprise Mayweather and impress judges with some boxing
Mayweather better get on that bike. He doesn't have enough power to keep Gatti off him and better hope Gatti breaks a hand before Mayweather breaks his own.
