However, I was commenting more on the view of say a casual fan who will now either see Pac not take the test, thus thinking he's on PED's or Pac taking the test's then having his workrate drop against Mayweather as that happens with all his opponents, then the casual fan will think he's on PED's anyway. That was the bad position I was mentioning and commenting on. He's basically in a lose-lose situation at the moment.
The problem I see with Pacquiao is that he isn't media savvy, doesn't come across as the smartest and is probably poorly advised. He just gets his head down and gets on with his boxing, imo he's not interested in mind games or gossip. So in a way I'm not suprised people are saying he's contradicting himself in interviews etc.

On another note hopefully in the future all major fights will have Olympic style drug testing, it's not perfect but it's the goal to aim for.

Ever watch Pacquiao vs Barrera 1? If that's not workrate I don't know what is.

It's not hard to throw 100+ punches per round against an oponent just trying to survive. Pacquiao wasn't able to do this against Cotto.
I was discussing Pac on boxing boards before you were an itch in your Daddy's pants.

Tell me what is the WORST thing you have heard PBF say about Pac and steroids.

        Thanks in advance.

Pac took a CD blood test. not a PED blood test.

The NSAC doesn't perform PED blood testing.
My issue is not if he is a cheat, I believe not.

The issue is about the blood test, which it seems he will do.

What athlete do you know has ever reached their physical prime in their thirties?

He's not in his physical prime.

              He;s in his boxing prime.

He gets sore more easily and beat up now.

His speed is not as fast

              You can get better.

Look at floyd, change in style sicne his dad is back and he looked great.

              So he on PED's then

Yeah, he definitely is not, and it's not just him, it's his whole team. I just wish his whole team sat down together and got some lessons on PR. This is where the main PED problem came from, rejecting the test for whatever reason but them his team coming out with hundreds of different excuse along the way. AT least if there is a legit reason, come out with it, that and that only. See Mayweather is a perfect example of a fighter who is media savvy and so is his team (except for sometimes his Dad, but I guess he's not that much part of his team).

I just wish Pac would actually take the test and come out clean, as if he doesn't, it's going to be a BIG black mark on the sport of boxing. Like I don't understand why anyone would actively want to see Pac come out as being on PED's or whatever, as all it'll do is take boxing to a even more minority sport. It's a dodgy sport at the best of times, with dodgy judging and all that, but PED's on the P4P#1/2 would be the worst thing that could happen! Which is why should take the tests if he's clean. If not, then I don't know, boxing will take a hit no matter what he does.

And yeah, I agree with the Olympic testing on all world title fights, but that's a discussion for a different thread!

He's better physically than he's ever been.

As he should, he has no defense.

He's just as fast as he's ever been.

His style has remained the same for the most part, he however looks better than ever.

I believe so for a number of reasons.

Thats true, when people say he keep his speed this isn't all true.He keep a lot of his speed but he is clearly not as fast anymore. Its just everyone is just that much slower than him. Also if you take care of your body who is to say you can't still be in good shape in your thirties,Boxers and athletes are able to stay in the game longer do to modern training and nutrition.

He is more musculer, so has more power indeed

His speed has slwoed down, again watch his fights at the lower weights.

He ahd no defense before but took punches better. At 30= your body doesn;t heal as fast

His style is the same maybe, well actually he is in and out, more patient and tiems better. His use to two hands has improved dramtically
