Fuck that, Martinez was giving up enough of a size advantage at 160lbs. Hopefully Sergio tells him where he can go and opens himself up for a Mayweather fight (erm, no ****).

        Not at a catchweight.

Pavlik deserves all the **** he's getting though. I remember after he beat Taylor Arum was running around telling everyone that this kid hits as hard as Marvin Hagler and that he was the best middleweight since Hearns....and a bunch of other dumb ****.

Then Pavlik got asked what he thought about the super 6 and he scoffed at it claiming those guys are suckers and that he would never fight for "peanuts" as he put it.

What now Pavlik? I'll bet he'd cut off his right nut to get into the super 6.

This is Pavlik's way of getting out of it with dignity

Actually I'll take that fight over Pavlik-Bute. That one would be fun to watch if you can overlook the complete absence of technical skill.

There goes the theory that Pavlik was "too small" for Hopkins. If anything, Hopkins did him a favor.

We already have enough divisions. We don't need these ****** catchweights and they should be banned from the sport.

I hope he doesn't. Why give Pavlik an advantage? Pavlik needs to make up his mind to either fight at 160 or move up to 168. If not Martinez should move on. He has other options.

Pavlik is in a tough spot. If he stays, he'll be forced to face some stiff competition. If he goes up it's even worse.

Pavlik doesn't really have a weight class. He's too big for 160 and he's not good enough to be a very good fighter at 168. He's stuck in the middle.

Martinez would still beat his ass at 164. Martinez is a nightmare for him. Too fast, too slick, good movement, etc.
