Marquez wasn't a draw before the Mayweather fight, personally I think Floyd and Pacquiao can do big numbers against almost any opponent.

Shown by the Pac-Clottey fight and the Marquez-Mayweather fight.

And, you really should not care about. Don't give no excuses on why not to fight a fighter.

I don't care if P-Will is not a draw. If he can still make 147 Pac should fight him. No excuse about him being too big or not a draw.

You shouldn't give no excuses either. You as a boxing fan should want the best fighting the best period no excuses. Who brings what in the PPV should be none of your concern. Unless you getting piece of the pie.

He already beat Martinez. Last year remember? Almost EVERY organization with a P4P list has Williams Top 3.

Floyd mentioned fighting Martinez. Who is also not a big draw. He can fight Paul as well. JMM isnt a draw either and he fought him.

Martinez was robbed last year. Williams is top 5 p4p right now, but how many casual fans and people who don't follow boxing actually know who he is? Floyd said he would maybe fight Martinez because they asked him the question after his fight. Martinez has belts that Floyd wants.

JMM is a bigger name and he's more popular than Martinez and Williams.

My point is PWill should fight Martinez and if he beats Martinez, he can fight Floyd. A win over Martinez would give him more exposure and a much bigger payday. Floyd will fight him if he keeps winning.

You cant get robbed in a fight of the year candidate. Especially in a fight that was EXTREMELY close. There was no robbery. How many casual fans know who JMM is? Baldi? Mosley?

Floyd said nothing about fighting at Middleweight. Martinez is not a draw either. He also wants to fight Margarito next. So he wont be available. Martinez AND Williams fought in front of 3000 people beating him again wont give him any exposure because Martinez himself is an unknown.

HBO put Williams on the Floyd-Mosley replay this Saturday vs. Cintron. ALOT of casual fans will be watching. Floyd is a mega star anybody he fights people will watch there is no excuse. He can fight Paul next if he cant get Pac.

I don't think it would do 1 million in PPV buys obviously but I think it would still do well maybe 700k-850k or something like that which is not bad at all especially since Williams is not a big name with the Casual Boxing Fans

It really don't matter if he is a draw or not.

He is a legit opponent, a legit threat. No excuses on why not to fight the guy. Us boxing people know who he is. Know what danger he brings to the table.

And, honestly just for the opportunity Paul Williams would not ask for much. Just cuz he would get the chance of a lifetime he probably would agree to a Joshua Clottey type of deal.

I nuthug Tito like crazy. Not once did I care if his opponent were PPV draws. Not once did I make excuses on why not fight Simon or Winky when they were not big names at 154. I wanted him to fight them cuz they were legit opponents and legit threats. I didn't care about them not being a draw.

Tito didn't have to fight B-Hop. Hopkins was not a draw when Tito fought him. Winky was not a draw when Tito fought him. But, they were legit opponents and Tito fought them. That is why he is my favorite **** all the other bull****.

Honestly Burner I only know how much PPV he sold on the Oscar fight. I can not give you all his other PPV numbers. I only know how much money he made in the Oscar fight because at the post fight interview he asked Oscar am I worth the 10 million now. That is the only reason I know that. I don't know how much he made in his other fights. Because, I really don't care.

I am a fan of boxing, fighter fighting the best, I am not a fan of PPV numbers or how much a guy makes. But, for the life of me Burner I don't understand why some Floyd fans care sooooo much about who is a draw and who is not. Who brings in the most money and who don't. I don't understand why that group of fans are like that?

Floyd is a big enough draw to where hes a MARQUEE name in the sport.

Floyd vs. Willaims does good numbers.
You are right on the mark Burner. I really do question how much JMM carried that PPV with Floyd, because his fight with Casa bombed. Even though I gained a lot of respect for Floyd after the Mosley fight and was converted into a fan his hardcore defenders still get on my nerves. If Williams beats Kermit impressively this weekend, then he is a very worthy future opponent for Floyd.

What do you people want Floyd to do? Fight Cotto if he beats a wack ass Foreman?

You make good points. I cool with some guys who act like that but I cant be a part of it. Hes at the level now where he could fight anyone and do good if thats their argument. Williams and Martinez are viable options for him.
