Where does Sugar Shane Mosley rank in this era?

One of the best of this era....from Lightweight to Junior-Middleweight Champ....Mosley IMO proved to be one of the best fighters of this era.

Where does he rank with the other greats of the last decade? (Mayweather, Pacquiao, Jones Jr, Hopkins, DLH, Toney, Tito, Lopez, Morales, Barrera, Winky, Calzaghe etc)

He'd be in the middle. In between ODLH and Tito Trinidad.

Losses to Cotto, Mayweather, Forrest, and Wright drag him down.

His only great win as of late was against Margarito, and who knows how Margarito was feeling psychologically after just having been caught cheating.

Ring Magazine had him the best Welterweight of the 2000's. I wonder if they wish they had Mayweather there instead.

He was a beast at 135, 2 wins over DLH were good, but losses on the big stage hurt his legacy. I have Jones, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Hopkins, Toney and Wright all above him. I have a hard time placing him against Morrales or Barrera. Id rank him over both DLH and Trinidad. Steroid scandal doesnt reflect well on him either. Great fighter tho willing to face the toughest competition out there.

He had the same curse as DLH really. He's a strong fighter who lost most of his major fights. The fact that he got 2 wins over DLH and a good win against Margarito put him side by side with DLH IMO.
