By the time they fight Sergio, not a young man himself, would be nearly 40 and Floyd in his late 30's... I have no interest in seeing old Floyd fight. He can screw his legacy over like Roy Jones did if he does that. I'm sure Floyd will fight for too long, he's too much of a fighter to realize when he's sliding but i hope he passes the torch to someone at least with great potential too. A Bradley type with power is what i was thinking.
sergio was robbed twice against cintron, (ko, then points)
i think he beat Pwill.
plus, margacheato doesnt deserve to fight, ever again.
i think a rematch with pavlik would be competitive, but sergio vs floyd at 154 would be a slick competitive boxing match...
i think one of the most intrigueing matchups that can be made

how many bigger men did the pacman beat? the size and height or reach advantage are nothing because these don't win fight but speed and power can win fight. the ugly-old gayweather never learned his lesson on his predictions against pac. maybe if pac will win, better if he and his baby gayweather and brother rogayweather will disappear for shame.

pacman is phenomenal, but his height and frame are a disadvantage.
Originally posted by amayseng View Posti also think floyd beats pwill with ease as well. pwill is a volume puncher, not power puncher, has very slow feet compared to floyd and handspeed as well.
Originally posted by amayseng View Postthe only test floyd would have had would have been a pre-margacheato Cotto.
that would have been a great fight. cotto had great handspeed, footwork, body punching and power to be very competitive with floyd.
however, margacheato and his concrete handwraps ruined cotto, shameful
everyone should protest margacheatos fights and NOT watch or support him, ever!
You could be right, and that could have been a very good fight also.
Margarito is a piece-of-shi7
Originally posted by amayseng View Posti think sergio martinez at 154 would be floyds biggest test as of today. sergio is fast, fluid with great hand and footspeed, fights in combinations and is a bit bigger.
i think the best fight that can be made at this time would be sergio vs. floyd..
that would be highly competitive.
anyone agree???
I would love to see that fight.
Maybe even more than Manny / May.
Good post bro.
