I read in several boxing magazines and in Nigel Benn's book that Toney acted a totally different cat when Benn was around ...in fact wasn't it Toney that wouldn't spar with Benn when Benn was training in his gym

Benn was a slugger.........that's why Eubank beat him......McClellan was whooping him until he started bleeding into his brain ........a boxer as crude as Benn would get taught a lesson by a guy with Toney's skill set........

well if he had ever fought toney he would be a brave, unconcious man. also could u find a less biased source than a book written by one of the fighters himself? what a joke..

toney would flatten benn, him and eubank would be a good fight but id go with toney. nunn would beat both of em too, not to mention RJ, hopkins and a non braindamaged gerald mcclellan. michael watson was the best british MW/S.MW, id give him a chance against most of these cats. eubank would put up good performances although he would lose in the vast majority of cases, benn was hype. decent fighter with alot of hype.

My point was lads that Benn wasnt scared to fight anyone...yeh Toney would of beat him...but Benn would of faced him..! There wasnt much Benn was scared off ..for me saying that Benn was scared of Toney is just silly !
As for what was said about McClellan winning if he hadnt got brain damaged ...what a crock of ****t !
I was there for that fight and Benn took everything Toney threw at him and kept coming back at him...like Benn said after .." the difference between me and him is that I can take his punches and he couldn't take mine " ...hard words now but correct !

Toney ****d 2 of the UK's best ever MWs/SMWs on camera, without even seeing them. I mean, ****, he reduced loudmouthed Eubank to silence and damn near tears - "Talking about my muvva, my muvva!"
