The title was extremely misleading. I was just ready to get pissed at Martinez but he never says anything about not wanting to face mayweather, he only says he is contractually obligated to face Pavlik if Pav wants is.

I think you need to re-watch the fight then. As much as I like sergio his chances of winning the fight was looking grim before he opened up that faucet on pavlik's face. Pavlik was in control of that fight and was definitely on his way to winning if not stopping sergio late. He had sergio timed with his jab and was starting to land at will.

I won money by betting on a UD for sergio that fight, but I might actually put money on Pavlik on the rematch due to how the first fight went.

If anything you should be praising the guy because he is a man of his word. Pavlik gave him an opportunity to be in the position he is in, and Martinez is paying him back by letting the champ get his title back. I swear I gain more and more respect each time I read an article on Martinez.

It's not misleading because our reporter said that he won't even answer any questions having to do with Mayweather. He will only discuss the Pavlik rematch as his next fight because per the contract he legally can't say he wants to fight anyone other than Pavlik.

Pavlik isn't gonna take the rematch. Those cuts have to heal up and he's fat right now. I think Burner says Martinez ducks fights like Mayweather and the Williams rematch as like a protective shield from people who are equally idiotic in saying that Williams is ducking Martinez and a protective shield against people who would say Floyd don't have the balls to take on Martinez.
