The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has ordered two important eliminators, in the light heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions. The purse bids for these eliminators will take place on May 10 at Sofitel Budapest in Hungary. The first eliminator will feature Nathan Cleverly (19-0, 9KOs) of Wales against Karo Murat (23-0, 13KOs) of Germany. The second eliminator will feature Denis Lebedev (20-0, 15KOs) of Russia against Aleksandr Alekseev (19-1, 17KOs) of Russia. The minimum bid for both eliminators is $300,000 dollars.

Two very competitive match ups!

Lebedev is a pressure fighter who wears his opponents down, Alexeev is the highly-skilled technician with an excellent amateur pedigree. Both have good power. This one will not go the distance, I'm rooting for Lebedev but it's a 50-50 match up.

Cleverly vs. Murat could go either way too, but I think Nathan has a slight edge in speed and so probably will win by late TKO or by decision.
