Question for Floyd Mayweather fans....

I go one way then the other on the issue if I'm honest. I see his performances against the likes of De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto and think, man, Pac will give him hell. He's fast enough to land on Floyd, he hits pretty hard, he keeps up his workrate and can take a shot.

Then, I look back to the JMM 2 fight. I know everyone will say that Pac has improved a lot since then, and he has shown improvement overall, but sometimes I have to think the styles of the fighters he's been facing may have changed the way Pac looked. The best way to beat Pac is to counterpunch, and use the right hand a lot, these guys he's fought recently haven't shown him that.

I feel the styles match up so awkwardly that you can't predict everything too well, but I have to say I'll take Mayweather by Decision. But, Pac should have the right tools to make it interesting... I just feel some of his offense is taken away when he fights counterpunchers - which isn't a knock, everyone has their bad matchups.

Well make a prediction how the fight can go for either fighter. A believable one though plz.

I just did - Mayweather UD.

Pac will come out aggressive, and probably be ahead after 4 rounds. Mayweather will be uncomfortable with Pacs speed and constant pressure, and I would expect he'd fight on the back foot - using the jab, and looking to set up right hand/left hook counters. Going into the middle portions of the fight, Floyd should have started to adjust to Pacs rhythm and will start to land will more precision and consistency. I wouldn't be suprised to see Mayweather shake him or drop him, Pac was stunned by counter punches against JMM, and admitted that Cotto did hurt him with the shots, so Floyds pin point counters may fight him on unsteady legs at some point.

Coming into the late rounds, I'd expect Pac to try to apply more pressure as the fight would be tightening up, but Mayweather should have got into his game enough that he manages to continue tagging Pac coming in with jabs, rights and left hooks. Also, I think Pac may be suprised with Floyds physical strength and may tired somewhat later in the fight (Although I wouldn't put money on it).

Overall, I'd say an 8-4 or 7-5 decision to Mayweather. Although, if Mayweather goes against my expectations and fights more aggressivly, I wouldn't be too suprised to see a late TKO.

I think we would all agree then barring a monster lucky punch hitting PBF he should win. But who knows for real until they fight right. Hopefully they get this thing signed. Imagine how the forums will explode.

I dunno, Pac shouldn't be relying on one big shot, he isn't a one punch guy, and Floyd took Shanes right hand. I'd say Mosleys right hand is bigger than any single shot by Pac - the chance he is, is that he can make Mayweather uncomfortable if he forces his fight on Floyd. I just doubt it'll happen

And this place will be hell. It was hell coming up to and just after Hatton-Mayweather... this would be even worse... but, every boxing fan wants this fight to happen, it has to.

i know that you'll have fans of fighters and then there are extreme nuthuggers that blindly praise there favorite fighter and think they can walk on water. You'll have that with any big name fighter.

I'll admit that im a pac man fan through and through and i really do think that manny has a good chance to beat floyd. Even though floyd will have the better chance to beat manny than the other way around. Floyd is just a tought customer.

My question for floyd fans is this... Do you all honestly believe... with no bias that manny has no tools or no shot to beat mayweather?

Every fighter has a punchers chance, and everytime I have doubted Manny he has proven me wrong. But it's not that I just don't think Manny can beat Floyd, I don't know if anyone 154 on down can. The only two fighters I give a shot are Martinez, because of his awkward style, and PWill because he is so long and never stops punching. Floyd would have to find a way to get inside of his punches.

That's the thing Floyd has great footwork as well. He's been a superior technical boxer for a long time now. Pac has just become a better technical fighter. Dashing straight in against a counter puncher like Floyd is actually the worse thing to do. Manny has to work his way inside. We saw this against Marquez. Once Marquez guaged Manny's speed he was able to counter him all night long.

It does which is why everybody is so crazy(including myself) about the negotiations. It's like a temporary madness comes over me when I read a ******* talking nonsense on a thread. They need to sign the fight before my blood pressure goes up.

Now you see this guy is light years ahead of all the elite fighters in the world. Now you see he does have a good chin, if he didn't he would have been ko'd in the 2nd round of his last fight. His focus and speed is of super hero status. Now everybody is kissing his ass. Well im proud to say ive been saying this for the last 10 years. Mayweather was the **** since day one. hIS ENTIRE TEAM is perfect. There is just to much knowledge in LilFloyds corner. Mayweather is wise way beyond his yearss in age. Pacman is your basic 1-2 puncher, very predictable. I will be very glad when you cowards learn about boxing so u can unstand my sport.
