calzaghe is a great fighter, im not gonna bash on him, but when people call him a "hall of famer", thats an insult to the hall of fame. he fights all his fights in the UK, comes to the US for an old hopkins who he BARELY beat, and a shot roy jones and hes a all time best ? come on now, be real wit it.

hopkins has good reason to demand the rematch, why not every close fight deserves a rematch in my opinion. like i think Andre berto should fight luis collazo again, sergio martinez should fight paul williams again. every close fight gets rematched

and so on....

the fight was a toss-up, i saw bhop land all the meaningful power punches, but joe got the edge becuz of his workrate, even though he barely touched bhop. but i agree, hopkins shouldve never made that "'whiteboy" comment. did that have any effect on WHITE judges scoring the fight? who knows. but im saying is the fight was close, joe was suppose to dominate and barely made contact.

No need for a rematch with Hopkins, he clearly won the 1st time and embarrassed Hopkins after his classless comments.

Besides no one wants to see Hopkins in the ring again anyway other than a few diehard supporters.

If he does come back, I want to see the Carl Froch/Joe Calzaghe fight.

Even after the layoff, Joe I think makes him look amateurish.

calzaghe and jones jr arent so different they were both great fighters in ****ty divisions infact middleweight still sucks and both those fighters in their prime will **** any middleweight today. but it is what it is if roy jones wouldnt have gotten disqualified for hittin while a fighter was down in a fight he was winning and retired after beating john ruiz like he was told he woulda been undefeated too. and roy in his prime woulda beat calzaghe but calzaghe has earned his spot in the hall its not east bein undefeated for anybody even if ur record has no huge names on it cuz there were none it just the way it is.

It needs to be said time and time again - why would such a ****ty fight need to be seen again? I don't care if it would've been the biggest robbery on the planet (which it wasn't), a rematch for a fight like that does not ever need to be discussed. Drop it. It was horrible the first time.

This is one fight that i cant bare to watch again, not only did Joe win on the official cards when he should not have, but the fight itself was awful, just awful.
