I think Floyd jr wanted to prove something and went on to do his interpretation of the gameplan. He just wanted to press the attack and front Mosley at his own game.

He definitely made Jnr more competitive in the gym.

He also brought back the jab and little more.

However, that style doesn't seem to be the ebst way to beat Pac IMO.

agree....i think the plan was to stay infront of Mosley and jab then counter when shane moves in....i don't think it was to be that agressive and walk him down....in the post fight they asked Floyd Sr about the 3rd rd and Jr's aggressiveness.....he said he wouldn't have advised him to do that......he said i would have advised him to be careful and box in rd 3, then do that in rd 4.

So i think Floyd ran with the plan, but made it more assertive.

I think its partially Floyd getting his hunger back and wanting to regain his thrown and add names to his resume for his legacy. But Mayweather Sr. helping out is doing something right, hes looked excellent in the past two fights and shown he has even more than we thought up his sleeve. Roger is still the main trainer and the main help, but I think Floyd Sr. is helping out a lot by giving a second opinion, him and Roger seem to work well with each other when thinking of ideas.

Regardless, he certainly got the jittery Mosley part correct. :sad1:

Nah. I don't think so. It was Shane. IMO, Sr is the one who brings the potshotting Floyd. I seem to remember pre Coralles fight. Floyd said his father is defensive oriented while his uncle is offensive oriented in terms of training him.

It's gonna be alot harder to beat Mayweather now that Mayweather is using the jab alot.
