Manny's punch output is going to be much lower since he's going to feel every one of mayweather's counter punches. Mayweather by TKO/UD. Could be dangerous though for Mayweather if he's going to fight a similar style like his fight against Mosley, especially in the early rounds
How in the hell is Pac gonna defend PBF's right hand?

As if the right hand is the only issue here and as if Pacquiao couldn't punch back too....this is really funny.
Of course Mayweather's right cross is formidable but so are Pacquiao's quick combinations coming from all angles.
It is a matter of WHO HITS FIRST and whether the recipient can recover from it and the oncoming onslaught afterwards IS the more appropriate question.
Pacquiao was hit harder by Cotto and was able to withstand this, but with Mayweather it isn't just his right hand to contend but the whole package. Mayweather is a complete fighter that Pacquiao would have to challenge - not his right hand alone.
There are counter questions against Mayweather too.
That is why this fight must happen.Comment

I think that it is subjective, this fight. I can agree to your assessment that PBF has the "cerebral talents" because I am also a fan of his (and the biggest fan of ALI and the sweet science).
But there are endless permutations on scenarious to be played out and too restrictive to really just limit what can happen. We cannot say outright that Pacquiao doesn't have the "cerebral talents" too because his experiences showed that he has challenged many boxers who are also masters in their own right.
If this is a chess match, then sure PBF can probably win it rather with relative ease but because it is all of their MINDS, HEARTS and BODIES into this, many elements can come to play.
It could easily be an anti-climactic fight ending with a one-round/one-punch conclusion, who knows right? Much to the disappointment of us pugilist fans who fantasize epic matches!
As I have mentioned in many threads here, both fighters can be the anti-thesis of the other.
I wouldn't be surprised either way who wins. But taking away extreme fanaticism that blind us all, it is fun to talk about it.
This fight must happen.Comment

Pac is tripling up on his HGH regimen all summer long so he can expand his already massive skull so that by the time he faces floyd in november, floyd will break his soft hands on his giant caveman head.
Hell his head was already bigger than Clottey's and that guy has a watermelon head.Comment

seriously. floyd only throws at max 2 punches per encounter. here's how an encounter usually happens.
1st - floyd potshots (single)
2nd - floyd puts up his guard or rolls his shoulder
3rd - floyd tries to catch you exiting (single or double)
so all you have to do is avoid the potshots by jabbing, feinting, bobbing and weaving. When you exit you have to put up your guard, bob-n-weave or punch with floyd.Comment

There are many obvious points in this fight, here's my own:
• like the Mosley/May fight, Pacquiao's "real" chances are in the early round when Pacquiao can unleash combinations from different angles that would have a reactionary Mayweather confused and being hit.
If Pacquiao lands some serious punches this could be the end of the fight early.
• If Mayweather weathers (pun) the onslaught of Pacquiao's hurricane of flurries, can Mayweather stage his offensive attacks?
• Pacquiao's stamina is never an issue but could be further tested if he's punching air
• Mayweather's great defensive skills would be tested to the utmost most specially against southpaws
Dang, this fight must happen!Comment

Can you please elaborate more? DO you mean that you think this fight will not last longer than 8 rounds due to Mayweather's ability to adjust?
