I don't know why this is hard to understand. After a point, you start to second guess yourself you become hesitant to throw punches and you lose confidence.

Of course mosley is 38 years old and he's an older version of the prime mosley, no doubt, but he looked teh way he did because of floyd's defense and counter punching abilities. Check the punch stats, mosley threw more punches than floyd but landed like 17% and floyd landed nearly 50% of his shots.
