Boxing dies for a few years after this fight.

          Then another big name emerges.

what always happens when the sports superstars retire, Boxing goes into a sort of coma like status and when the new stars emerge(and theres a **** load of canidates) they will wake up boxing from its "coma", ive seen it happen since ever hehe, Boxing will never die.

Who do you guys honestly see coming up that has the mental toughness to become legendary status? Who has the will to keep training just as hard after many huge paychecks as he had with his first big paycheck? Honestly, so many new kids are in it just for that 1 big paycheck win or lose. After that, they out. It takes people around you to give you the reason to keep doing it as if it's your first. A reason to continue training hard everyday no matter what. I don't know how many up coming fighters have that.

Floyd Diaz and Lakai Mayweather. Ofcourse.
Hopefully some filipino kid too so we can keep boxingscene.com alive in 2030.

Seriously tho, its not looking that great. I dont see anyone being that crossover success that will pull the casual fans in.

Floyd and Ellerbe both come out of the closet and proclaim that Saul Alvarez is Ellerbe's love child with CarrotTop.
