If anything Cotto at 145 was a test to see if he could even compete at WW and in actuality, Pac has officially only been at WW for 3 months (After Cotto fight they realized Manny was capable of competing at WW).
Truthfully Pacquiao Started His Welterweight Run in December 2008 against Oscar,
6 months Later he moved down to 140.

And then He came back to welterweight in November of 2009
and every since then he has been active in the division. Which has been another 6 Months

So actively speaking, Manny Pacquiao has been active in the welterweight Division for 1 year now.

and has became the WBO welterweight Champion and defended it once.
    which is pretty good

I dont see it. Not arguing with you, but the only thing I think Judah trumps Manny in is hand speed.

Thing is those 2 fights are very different. Cotto was boxing beautifully in round 1. He gets caught in round 2 and wants to be Rocky. Then gets battered the rest of the fight.

Floyd-Judah: Judah is flashy and cute. Floyd is smiling reading him like a book. Well placed body shots send Zab in retreat mode. Fight over.
The only difference in those fights that I see is that once Cotto got tagged he kept trying. Judah takes a couple punches and decides he'd rather coast to loss than be forced to chicken dance again on national T.V.

nope........that's what you call a "quick lick".

Roach just trained DLH, knew Manny could beat him, leading to Team Pac getting a lot of money in the process. Roach plaid that **** to perfection and props to him on that.

For anyone who thinks pbf chose that style for the fans is out of their damn minds. Thats the blueprint to beat ssm. When he says all those cliches, he really means them. I guarantee that we wont see that against pacq unless he has witnessed that style giving him trouble.

He did a smart thing. He made Shane show the world if he could play defense so to speak. Shane cant.

Manny really cant. Floyd can let his hands go without going to war.

but you might be right horus, because Manny and Roach wanted Margarito around the time of the Oscar fight. I remember them saying Manny could beat him and everyone laughed at the thought.

I maintain that a prime Sugar would've finished him in the 2nd round and we wouldn't even be talking about Mayweather right now.
Now its mumbo jumbo like this, that gives Boxing a bad name..

Shane cant really play offense either to speak honestly. Standing there doing the jitterbug all night isnt an effective form of offense. Manny will at least give Floyd something to think about after round 2.
