    Mayweather ruins fighters.

He doesn't have that one punch knockout power, but it seems like he'll bleed your brain severely for 12 rounds and you're never quite the same fighter afterwards. I can't think of one man he's got in the ring who's been the same especially after going a full 12 with him. Those grant gloves have deadly side effects!

Sometimes having a granite chin can be a bad thing. Shane, for example, took a LOT of punishment. The kind of punishment that has a long lasting effect on you.

Nothing to do with the gloves.

Mayweather does ruin fighters though. Mentally not physically. He breaks them down and makes them utterly hopeless. Everything they do doesn't work, so they get down on themselves mentally. They all show it, even Ricky Hatton showed it. Except Ricky said screw it and just went out on his shield, instead of staying alive.

After people fight Mayweather they get the Yips and they are never the same again.

So does Calzaghe. They both hit hard enough to hurt their opponents, they just don't have knockout power. And beating an opponents ass for 12 rounds is more damaging then KO'ing them early.

He ruins them mentally. He makes you feel like nothing. I saw it Shanes face. It was like he was 14 at the boxing gym with his Dad again.

                pfffft.

Diego Corrales went on two have fantastic fights after he lost, including the best fight of all time. He wasn't ruined by floyd, just badly exploited.

Castillo certainly wasn't ruined by floyd, he too went on and won many more fights.

Henry Bruseles didn't lose for 5 years after floyd.

                etc.

Look what Floyd did to Hatton, Mosley, and Gatti though. I bet you he ****ed all 3 of those fighters confidence up. In Hattons fight after Mayweather Jr. his opponent shook him up in the same round Mayweather Jr. had!
