Richard Schaefer, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, said Manny Pacquiao has to fight Oscar Larios (the WBC super-bantamweight champion) before facing Barrera.

"I told him there’s no sense in Manny meeting Larios n a bout for a smaller purse and one that wouldn’t do anything to advance the career of Manny (Pacquiao.) ," said Murad Muhammad, but obviously, the other camp was not in a hurry to have the rematch although that seemed to be the next recourse as fight fans would want to see him get a revenge on the Filipino.

In short, Muhammad was told that Pacquiao must first beat Fahsan, then Marquez, then Larios and then they begin to talk of a rematch.

this would be a good fight while it lasted, pac man has too much power and oscar larios isn't a JMM so i think Pac Man would KO larious in the middle rounds mainly do to his power and larios loves to trade punches.

Yes, personally I think the main reason GBP wants Manny to fight Larios first is they want to rest MAB first , and give him an easy tune-up figth before facing Pac. MAB and Larios both belong to GBP, and for Larios, facing Pac is a chance of a lifetime. If he beats Pac, he'll become a legit superstar. So, two birds with one stone for Golden Boy Promotions.

Yup GBP wanted to make use of Pac's stature to elevate Larrios just like what Arum did to JMM. Aster robbing Manny PACQUIAO of that W . . . VIA draw (my ASS) . . . JMM's name was included in the P4P list.
