Bute is actually a pretty big guy and is quick. However, his punching power has become overrated. Andrade and Miranda were good 'named' opponents but they are not nearly on the level of the S6 fighters.
Bute's chin and heart would be tested in this fight for sure. Froch isn't a punching bag like Andrade and he is not short and pretty much shot like Miranda.
It's an intriguing matchup but I got Froch based on that first Andrade fight. Froch lands something big in 10-12 and ices a wobbly Bute.Comment

I bet Bute wins too, and i see your point about Froch, even though he looks bad fighting, he somehow manges to do ok. Kinda reminds me of Pernell Whitaker before ODH beat him, if i remember correctly. His style was very strange, and he made everybody he fought look bad...lol.Comment

Bute nearly lost to the crude Andrade. Froch is much more skilled and arguably punches much harder. It's not like Bute has the best chin the world has ever seen so there's definetely a chance that Froch can catch him. Furthermore Bute cannot control the fight as easy as he did with Andrade. Froch has a much better jab.
However it's hard not to say that the likely outcome will be a Bute UD. But you never know if Froch can land a hayemaker like this that leaves Bute Groggy for minutes (2.50). Thanks to Alec for posting the vi in another thread.
