No doubt. I totally agree!!!!! Still Caballero was offer 150K(By far his biggest Payday) and said no. And Juanma being weight drain againts Mtagwa didnt help the fight happeding.

Now, Juanma is the higher ranlked guy, so Caballero needs to fight Gamboa or some other top 10 FW!

And btw Gamboa is gonna get his soon. Caballero = no reward at all why would he fight him for peanuts.
He's fighting his way up. He looked good last saturday. As for Juanma you ask why whould he fight Caballero? Because he claims to be the best. So why not fight another champ and unify? How is that peanuts?

nobodies? just because you don't know about them doesn't make them nobodies man they are not nobodies that is simply an untrue statement. and why would he have to fight a fight with Caballero to set up a fight with Gamboa? it's Gamboa who has to go threw guys to set himself up for a fight with Juan Ma man who do you think is the name here? Juan Ma is the man at the moment so why would he have to go threw someone to get to someone who's still not on his level and doesn't have as many fights against as many good fighters? that's like saying Bradley has to beat Maidana so he could make a fight with Devon Alexander when it's the exact opposite, the man there is Bradley and it's in fact Devon whom needs to build himself up for that fight. Juan Ma is in a position where he's looking to make BIG money, Caballero IS NOT big money..

It's funny Lopez KOs Ponce in one round and you hype up that win, but then expect Paul Williams to give Quintana a third fight. And if Ponce was #3 in the division, that doesn't mean anything because Caballero had already beaten him. And Luevano was on Molitor's level. The win was nothing special.

Caballero is a good fighter. Being the man isn't about fighting anyone because your the best. It's about fighting other people who are good. Celestino Caballero has proven himself worthy of a shot against Juan Manuel Lopez. Caballero may not be big money but that doesn't give JuanMa a pass in my book.

And for the Maidana-Bradley comment. I said Lopez fighting Caballero would look good for the Gamboa match up. I didn't say he needs to, to prove himself to fight Gamboa. Don't you think after beating Maidana, Bradley-Alexander would be more exciting? Don't get so offended for me speaking my mind, man. As a Puerto Rican I support JuanMa.

you don't sound too fond of his choices, the truth is that Juan Ma already fought enough homage fights, he ALREADY earned his top spot and is looking to face off against other elite level fighters who actually bring him some more Dinero. you say he don't get a pass in your book but I say he gets one in mine, you know why? because it was all business it wasn't some bogus injury made up to get out of a fight it was due to business, due to Juan Ma looking at Celestino and saying to himself "why am I going to take a hard fight with Celestino for less money when I could take a hard fight with the winner of Vasquez-Marquez IV and then after a few more name fights take on Yuriorkis and make more money the whole time?" which makes sense because upon winning the belt and unifying you have to pay more sanctioning fees..

it boils down to this, what would YOU rather have, a leather strap with a few medallions on it or a higher percentage in money? you'd probably say the belt but then again look at the perspective you're speaking from. a fight with Caballero is a fight where he would be losing money, it wouldn't be that way if Caballero had a more notable name, even in the streets casual Boxing fans who don't know much would say "you saw that undefeated Cuban guy? Yuri-some ****" but Caballero? no one would know him.. see I would feel what you saying if Juan Ma didn't have other choices and Caballero was his biggest available fight but he isn't, he isn't even close to be honest this is just a fight only hard core Boxing fans want to see which wont bear well for Juan Ma's pockets
