Actually mayweather also beaten Diego Corrales Who was undefeated and in his prime he also knocked him down 5 times and the fight was stopped.what the **** is he projecting nobody gives him credit for what he has done. Explain to me how pacquaio is more brilliant Floyd is one of the purest boxers out there. Against Marquez he landed 59% of his punches while Marquez landed less then 12% he put a clinic on a guy who pacquaio struggled with and some consider he lost. No tell my about how pacquaio is better than him. I am beating a dead horse that this guy already explained loud and clear. I mean acknoweledge the facts you don't have to bean ignored fan boy of pacquaio at leastican admit pacquaio is good.
Corrales was undefeated. All fighters are undefeated at some point. You can only judge their careers at the end of them. Sadly Diego left the building early, but his record was clear; beat by Castillo, beat by Casamayor, beat by Clottey. He wasn't that good.
Castillo wasn't that good either.
Against Marquez, Mayweather put on a boxing clinic. However, styles make fights. Mayweather's style is a nightmare for Marquez. Marquez is not a come forward fighter. With shorter reach, and noticeably fleshy at the weight, he had no answers to Floyd. Styles make fights. Boxers with far less skill than Marquez put plenty of leather on Floyd.
Pacquiao is more brilliant than Floyd because he's achieved more. That is fact. More belts, more weights, and more HOFers on his record. Maybe that's not fair, since Pac turned pro at 15, but it's true. Mayweather would not be unbeaten had he turned pro at 15 and not had Bob Arum to guide his early career (yeah, y'know, the Bob Arum Mayweather fans cry about protecting Manny by feeding him Top Rank fighters... that Bob Arum did the same for Floyd for a considerable period).
See, Pacquiao is a kid from the streets who had nothing. He turned pro to feed his family. No boxing parents, no amateur career (btw Floyd lost plenty as an amateur).
Mayweather is great. He is brilliant. He's just not achieved more than Pacquiao. So let's give them both their due, OK? Both great.Comment
