I think some people are getting confused, Yes Cotto beat Mosley but after that he lost to Margarito who then lost to Mosley.. No way can Pac remain number 1 at WW when he didnt beat Mosley.

i dont see what the problem is here. Mayweather beat the #1 welterweight so he deserves to be ranked #1 at welterweight but Pacquiao retains the #1 p4p status. totally understandable.Comment

This is a really pathetic article, the worst, most biased article that I have ever read on boxingscene. I didn't hear Ronnie complain of bias when The Ring awarded Pac their fighter of the decade award. Why didn't he say that it was a meaningless award from a magazine with no credibility back then???Ring Magazine which prides itself on being the “Bible of Boxing” somehow appears to have bent if not broken its commandments. [Click Here To Read More]
And bringing up The Ring's rules about how a championship vacancy is filled is just ******. The Ring's Welterweight championship is vacant, and the order of the contenders is and always has been fluid, and based solely on the fighters' most recent performances. Their rules for winning a vacant title are completely irrelevant. And Mosley was rated higher by The Ring than Cotto, when Manny fought Cotto. This rant by Ronnie is not worthy of boxingscene. Why does boxingscene allow such drivel to be published?Last edited by Dave Rado; 05-04-2010, 04:02 PM.Comment

Overall yes Pac should have and was ranked higher than Mosley but not at WW because Mosley beat the man Margorito #1 WW who beat the man Cotto #1 WW to become the #1 WW even though they screwed up the rankings and had Pac over Mosley at WW when he wasn't supposed to be.Comment
