When Pacquiao fought and beat Miguel Cotto, at catchweight, Shane Mosley was ranked the number 1 welterweight in the world.

Pacquiao should never have moved to number one in the first place.

Mosley was the true number one welterweight with his defeat over Antonio Margarito.

Mayweather beat Mosley so that makes him number 1.

Again, Pacquiao should not have been ranked ahead of Mosley in the first place.

Is it me or did Ronnie forget that Pac fought Clottey in his LAST fight and not Cotto. Either way it goes, Pac wasn't supposed to be ranked higher than Shane anyway.

i have no beef with mayweather being #1. But marquez #3!!!!! Thats a sham, especially since he isn't even fighting a top lightweight. Paul Williams should be #3, and then sergio martinez should be #4. After that its a tossup

Ok guys lets get this straight. This isn't for P4P#1, he is arguing that mayweather should not be ranked the #1 Welterweight in the world. How ****** is this. If it was for P4P overall #1 Mayweather should have still gotten the nod but for welterweight #1 how the hell can Pac stake claim to that when he didn't beat the #1 WW in Mosley and Mayweather did. This is why i can't take Ronnie seriously.

Margorito beat Cotto to become #1, Shane beat Margorito to become #1 and Mayweather beat Mosley to become #1 simple as that. If it makes him feel better why doesn't he just crown Pac the #1 heavy weight in the world all because he is "the hero of asia". Ronnie is a very biased writer. Plain disgusting.
