Just watched the fight over for the fourth time, each time focusing on something different. This time i focused on the corners instructions at the end of the rounds. At the end of the 7th round ****m told Shane in reference to Floyd "See i tell ya this kid's gift is his conditioning, it ain't got nothing to do with that other stuff." Do you guys agree that it is this and nothing else that makes Floyd the fighter he is? I personally don't agree with that statement, i think there are plenty of attributes which sets Floyd apart from other fighters and most importantly is his ability to adjust to each individual fighter and his intelligence in the ring. You combine that with his speed, accuracy, counter punching ability, defense, lateral movements, underrated power, underrated strength and you have the components that make up Floyd "The Dragon Mayweather". What do you guys think?

He was probably just trying to amp Shane up.
There is obviously more to Floyd Mayweather's skill set than conditioning.Comment

I think what Naazim means is that Floyd with all his speed and skills is able to do that for 15 rounds if need be.Comment

Naazim speaks the truth once again.
Floyd is exceptional talented and has great boxing skills but his conditioning is superb.Comment

I wouldn't take that line completely at face value, as trainers will often say things they don't necessarily believe mid-fight as a means to motivate. If Brother Naazim had said that line about Calzaghe, he'd be spot on, but Mayweather has more to him than just his superb conditioning.Comment

You guys hit the nail right on the head. Looking back it seems like Shane was just mentally and physically done at this point and he was trying to get him stop being awe of Floyd's speed and accuracy and believe that if Shane would get his second wind he would have a chance.Comment

Agree with you guys, not for nothing though even though 24/7's doesn't show his full workout from what i've heard about his late night training and early morning runs, i think people take his conditioning for granted. For someone who all they depict on TV is him showing off his money, ***elry and cars i think casual fans and media think he's not dedicated or don't know that he's the most dedicated boxer. You compare him to a zab judah who is always out partying and drinking and you can see the difference in their fights and i think zab is very gifted physically.Comment
