  • You are right, the division is up to 154 pounds. We all now that.

Pacquiao can come in at 150 pounds if he wants, but what we are trying to understand is why Cotto should be obligated to do so as well. Since, as you mentioned, the division is up to 154 pounds.

    • Scumbag Arum wants all the money in-house. What a surprise, both Margarito / Cotto both under Top Rank, two damaged good fighters. What's sad is Pacfans are ok with that.

If Cotto has an issue, so be it. You think he would?

That is all well and dandy. However, I remember watching 24 7 and saw him in a doctors office. I think he was giving blood then. Didn't seem like it hurt him at all. Mentally or physically.

Perhaps it is the possible results affects him. As an athlete, it should be understood that blood tests and all things alike come with the territory.

When I envisioned this fight being made I never thought something as trivial as a blood test would hamper it. Nor did I think that the person hampering it would be Manny Pacquiao.

Reasonable, of course, but was he giving blood before training? If he wasn't, then how could you see if it affected it(training)?

Not so. At all. Floyd vs Martinez would be a GREAT fight, most likely. If it was the style of Floyd that gave Mosley issues, then Manny fighting Shane could be a sweet war, as well. Mosley could train well(not over-train, possibly...), and not have to deal with the blood tests. Heck, he actually could take something himself, if he wanted to. At 38, I think it would be kinda fair, actually.
