Why is Pacquiao still considered the champion of the jr WW division? His last 2 fights were at WW and it doesn't seem like he has any plans to return to 140.

Why is Pacquiao still considered the champion of the jr WW division? His last 2 fights were at WW and it doesn't seem like he has any plans to return to 140.

in the ring magazine either last month or the month before in the editors section they stated that Pac asked to keep the belt until after the Clottey fight and that he would defend it. So the ring granted him extra time stating that if his next opponent after Clottey wasnt a Junior WW then he would be stripped.

So expect him to lose the belt if his next fight isnt at 140
