    Light Heavyweight World Champions

I like the Light Heavyweight division, there's some good fighters in there and good matches to be made.

Jean Pascal is WBC Champion and I think he's defending it against Chad Dawson in August. I've no problem with this as Pascal is an exciting fighter and a decent champ and I'm looking forward to him fighting Dawson.

Tavoris Cloud is IBF Champion. He's a good fighter and is undefeated. I would like to see him fight the winner of Pascal and Dawson and unify 2 titles but who knows if Dawson will ever fight him.

Juergen Braehmer is WBO Champion. TBH I've never seen him fight so I can't say he's a bad champion but I've never heard anyone mention him on this site and never read much about him.

Beibut Shumenov is WBA Champion. I've never heard of him and how did he manage to get a world title fight with only 9 wins and 1 loss?

2 of the 4 world champions at Light Heavyweight are not even in the top 10 Ring ratings at that weight!! My question is why don't some of the bigger names in this division target the WBO/WBA titles and try and unify them? Bernard Hopkins is still ranked in this division, he should decide if he's campaigning at Light Heavy or Super Middle and fight. I heard he's going after Lucian Bute so he should move down or fight at Light Heavy. It just seems like a strange division where 2 of the main World Champions aren't really recognizable or ranked in the top 10!

It's been this way for a while a LHW, the best don't have the titles.

I know, it's strange! You would think the best fighters in the division would want the World Titles aswell as just being regarded as the best!

Well when there are so many belts it doesn't mean anything anymore.
