Remember, Amir said that he wants to fight Bradley/Maidana after he beats Malignaggi. Maidana must have read that and said to call off the Bradley fight. He obviously believes he has a bigger chance at beating Amir then beating Bradley because of the "suspect" chin. On top of that there is much more money involved in a fight against Amir.
