My Opinion On Pac vs May (Anyone else?)

My opinion of this fight is that it is is a mismatch. I understand Floyd was wobbled by Shane in round 2, BUT Floyd decided to fight differently and stand in front of the long, rangy Mosley.

While Pacquiao does have the tools to potentially give Floyd problems, he lacks the means by which to utilize these. Pacquiao CAN'T fight going backwards. Pacquiao CAN'T fight against right-hand dominate fighters. Floyd wins this fight easily. The ONLY people that would put up a good fight with Floyd are: 1. Paul Williams- Because of his size and punch output. I don't think it's advisable for Floyd to take this fight because he has nothing to gain. 2. Sergio Martinez- The toughest fight out there for Floyd. This is the one person in the world who stands a chance at boxing with Floyd. Sergio can fight going backwards, so I would consider this a toss-up. It would also be a very nice feather in Floyd's cap to win the MW title.

I'm probably going to catch a lot of flack for this post but the meat and potatoes of it is: Pacquaio vs Floyd IS A TECHNICAL MISMATCH! Floyd dominates Manny all day long and twice on Sundays!

Roach has turned Pac into something special. PBF knows this, and has acknowledged it.

PBF hasnt shown me anything that makes me think Pac wouldnt beat him. You never know in this sport though.

All bull**** aside even though i dont think its a mismatch by any means i honestly think Mayweather-Pacquiao will be an ugly ugly fight and even more emphasis on ugly.

Pacquiaos reaction times and closing speed are way too fast for floyd to be able to potshot from a distance but floyd is too smart to let pacquiao stay inside and eat combos all day. So i expect alot of holding and wrestling in this match.

Pac cant throw his left hand without throwing two jabs in front of it...telegraphs it, floyd will pick him off a lot during the fight. Pac has a punchers chance IMO and thats all.

Floyd is barely even in competitive fights. He dominates almost everyone, or at least sytematically breaks them down. Pacquiao, while also dominant, and more crowd pleasing, has been in wars. Many people believe he lost to Marquez the second time. He was in a war with Cotto for about 4-5 rounds. Clottey though he performed miserably and with no heart, lasted the full twelve and did physical damage to Pac.

I see Floyd winning a decision in a fight where Pac ends up a bloody mess. I do think Pac makes it a good fight, but in the end Floyd's defense, precision, and ring IQ will win the day.

which is exactly why he only has a punchers chance.
