Berto would have been KTFO by Mosley, and for that matter, Floyd would have KO'd him that night as well.

I agree, had they fought earlier this year, Berto would have won just as easy as Mayweather. Although, i don't see him stopping Shane.

He was so confident that he chose to not fight Mosley.

Ive always liked Mosley as a fighter, but lets be honest here. If the Mosley that showed up sat. night(2-3 rds of activity) fought Berto he would lose, by KO probably not.
If they fought when originally scheduled, Mosley would have KO him - going by the Margarito fight performance, Naazim, etc..

i think shane enters this fight relaxed as usual and in great shape ready to go

the sheer ginormity of the may, moses fight got to him

this fight isnt nearly as big and coming off a loss i think he will be hungrier plus he knows berto is no floyd.

Berto says that while imagining himself with Floyd's toolset.

I thought Berto could beat Mosley before and really that view is only stronger there for the simple fact that Shane took a beating both physical and mental.

It is probably a wise move for Berto to get Mosley lined up and it makes sence to Mosley because Berto certainly can be beaten and a win would keep him at his current status.

The statement is pretty funny though~
