Manny may have to take tests afterall

read this article. In the 6th pp the writer points out:

I was in the Philippines several weeks ago, and Pacquiao was attracting thousands of people at his rallies, often held in coconut jungles, where he talks about his own abject poverty growing up in his impoverished and violent southern province. People line up a hundred-deep at Pacquiao's General Santos City house to beg for money. He pays their medical costs and even buys coffins because people can't afford to bury their dead. According to my sources, Pacquiao has spent $10 million on the campaign. To get back into financial shape, he needs to fight again. Fighting Mayweather could be the most lucrative boxing match ever, garnering $40 million per fighter.

I didn't know Manny was spending his fortune on this election. I can see why he is so beloved in his country! That said, dude is spending SERIOUS money on the campaign. Dude may need that $40 mil afterall.

Manny will have to agree to the tests if he wants the fight. Simple as that.

i think he'll agree to a 14 day cutoff but will floyd agree? the reason why i say will floyd agree is that a scheduled cutoff date defeats the purpose of "random" blood testing. this fight has to happen with "random" blood testing and no cutoff dates. i doubt it happens.

true. random or nothing. I think win or lose the election, if you spend your own cash you gotta get it back. Manny can't gross $10 mil(after deductions for bob, trainer etc.) with anyone but floyd, except maybe margarito in mexico because us fans would have to buy the ppv.

The article challenges that theory. Manny is going to need the money. Not taking tests to recoup all that money spent and having more money to help your cause. I think he may have to. I could be wrong.

No he don't, he has proved he's clean and no one and I mean no one in there right mind will side against a pro athlete that wants proper testing done to assure the public gets a fair fight. Anyone that opposes drug testing has an agenda or either hates Floyd so much that they don't care how someone beats him as long as they beat him. Bottom line.
