mallinaggi not only has much much better resume
he has lasted longer with much much stronger tougher fighters
hatton and cotto are both worlds ahead of kahn and nither could legitimately stop paulie ..kahn def has a good chance to win a dec but 2 DESTROY him?????
ill put 3 million points he does not ko paulie and if this kahn not respecting paulies power thing is true(which i assume it is not because roach n kahn r not that dumb) then his is in 4 a surprise..ive seen and met mallinaggi a couple times and he is in serious shape i know he looks skinny in fights but i am telling you if it wasnt for his hands he would have a decent punch ..2 bad he cnt use xylocain like floyd lol

No, you got sonned. Froch >>> Khan by far at this stage, and is stacking up enough quality names on his ledger to surpass Ricky's ring legacy if he continues in that vein.

I never said froch doesn't have a better resume than khan at this moment because he definately does by a long shot. BUT does he really have a choice? he is 32, he doesn't have that long to build his career. Wat did froch accomplish at the age of 23? You can judge khan when he is 32 until then hush. To be honest though, I don't blaim Froch for hating on Khan because Khan was making a million fighting bums but Carl wants nothing less than a million for fighting abraham haha, not to mention he can't get on TV in the UK. Finally, he won't surpass ricky's legacy coz he wont win anymore matches, I guarantee it.

            No, you hush.

            And be fair.

Not every great prizefighter in history has an Olympic medal. In fact, there are great prizefighters who don't.

Ask yourself . . . what did Froch have handed to him at age 23?

I'll defend Amir to a point. I don't think he himself lacks any courage, heart or willing. I like him a lot.

But Froch's mettle is proven and his boxing skills, for whatever they lack, have come to be underrated, period.

Don't guarantee anything. I think Abraham wins, but so what? Froch can conceivably bounce back from that, his character is strong enough.

Also, who cares about Carl wanting to get paid? This is germane, how?

People keep bring up their age. I like to bring up Khan has had 23 fights and Froch has had 27.... Similar although I admit Khan could do a lot in 4 fights. Will he though? Maybe he'll get KOed again or maybe he'll beat Mayweather.... who knows?

Froch won't win anymore matches? Well I have a solution that can fix that: Instead of quality opposition such as top North American slick blacks (Dirrell, Taylor, Pascal) and hard punching Euros (Kessler, Abraham) he should fight BUM after BUM after BUM for a WBU belt for 30-40 fights! Haha.

He can then move up to 175 and get brutally KOed by Dawson in 10 after falling into a ringpost and then get KTFO by Martinez in 2 moving up to 168. That will solidify his greatness!!!

                Exactly.

Forget age, Froch's pro career didn't begin 'til he was as old as Amir is now. It moved along slowly because Froch has had NOTHING handed to him. Amir had a world of opportunity opened up to him from the jump of his pro career, more than even an Olympic medallist deserved, and was moved away from dangerous fights at 135 so he could win a title at 140.

Froch has done it all the hard way,
                • Beat Jean Pascal, an excellent contender as hungry as himself, who subsequently moved up to win a title at 175, in a see-saw battle to win the green belt

                • Defended his title in the backyard of highly regarded former middleweight champion (who counts Bernard Hopkins as a scalp on his ledger) Jermain Taylor, winning the fight by dramatic KTFO

                • Deservedly retained his title again in front of a full home crowd, winning an arguable but far from shocking decision, after a fight made unwatchable by the unprofessional performance of talented (if flaky), well-rated opponent Andre Dirrell

                • Lost his title in a 2 time super-middleweight champion's backyard, after a close fight (a FOTY contender) which he very arguably won and likely would have been awarded to him had it been fought in his yard or even in a neutral location

                • Will fight valiantly for a place in the semi-finals of The Super 6 Boxing Classic against monstrous-punching former middleweight title holder Arthur Abraham

Paulie's hands aren't the problem. The problem is, he doesn't sit down on his punches. He punches and tries to get away at the same time which reduces power.

Watch him when he stunned Diaz. He didn't try to run while punching, he sat down on his punch and drilled Diaz hard.

A'mere Con isn't knocking Paulie out though.

I concede this, and add that Paulie would still be a comparatively light hitter even without his injury history, whether he planted his feet or not.

His hand problems are a blight on his career in general, though, and a lack of confidence in his right hand has inhibited his performance in some previous fights.

Pascal - Diaconu I and II are classics in their own right. Amazing fights.
