Shane Mosley vs. Joshua Clottey

I dont think Clottey can beat Mosley.
At the same time, i dont think Mosley will win convincingly because of Clotteys style.

I think Clottey's defense is the key of the fight.

Now,Mosley can hurt anybody.

if clottey doesnt get intimidated by shanes speed and power and goes into his shell all night mosley knocks him out. we are talking about two diffrent levels of fighters here.

I think Mosley wins a tight UD over Clottey. Clottey would land some decent shots on Sugar, but Sugar still has a very powerful offense. Of course Shane's offense looked ****ty against Floyd, but Clottey is flat footed and slower than Floyd.

This is a perfect prelude/undercard fight if May-Pac ever gets made.

I told everyoen that mosley only hits what he can see. Hence the reason he looks stale so much. This is why he wont beat clottey.

Same situation with clottey. he won't throw cause he'd be too busy looking for ways around the guard.

Mosley rarely uses it, and the way Clottey sets up his defense, he'd be blocking that shot anyway. Mosley really only used it the first two rounds of his fight with Mayweather and the entire fight with Margarito.

Mosley does use the jab to the stomach only when he boxes just like the first two rounds against Mayweather. He stopped using it because he hurt Mayweather and started to throw power punches in order to get rid of him. Clottey cannot defend himself from the stomach jab.

you make a good point. kudos. i never really thought about mosley's offense like that.

i will add this though: when a fighter gets dominated like shane mosley just did, it's hard to picture him beating anyone good.

i think clottey-mosley is a toss up fight at this point. it's not like clottey's offense is anything special.
