mosley had nothing in that fight. that mosley would have got knocked out under 6 by pac.
how would pacquiao have fared against mosley?

thats if he landed that lucky punch. thats all he did in the fight and thats a big 'if'. pac would destroy that version of mosley. its suicidal for a fighter to fade after 4 rounds. The problem with those two examples is that they both were 1 shotting. They expected 1 hard punch to be enough and never followed up. Clottey hurt Pacquiao once and never followed up. Cotto hurt Pacquiao once and never followed up. Cotto then got obliterated with the speed and power. Clottey just never punched what-so-ever.
The difference with Mosley is, when he smells blood in the water he goes for the kill. He couldn't do that with Mayweather because Mayweather clinched hard.
Pacquiao doesn't know what a clinch is. He would have ended up going out on his shield. By that I mean, he would have went out swinging.
When Pacquiao gets rocked he keeps fighting with his hands down. They would have traded shots... it comes down to who's punch is harder and who's chin is stronger. Undebateable, Mosley's chin is better. While I believe Mosley's power > Pacquiao's power.Comment

you're right, pac responds to pressure by swinging back. but he's very, very good at it. he knocked down marquez in the 2nd fight with his back against the ropes. same with the first KD against morales in their 3rd fight. same with the 2nd knockdown against cotto- back against the ropes, then he spun him around and knocked him down with an uppercut. i can see mosley repeatedly getting clipped on the way in and then being dominated through the later rounds as he loses energy. The problem with those two examples is that they both were 1 shotting. They expected 1 hard punch to be enough and never followed up. Clottey hurt Pacquiao once and never followed up. Cotto hurt Pacquiao once and never followed up. what do you guys mean "this version of shane mosley"? lol! that's the same damn shane mosley that fought margarito.
how many times does the saying "styles makes fights" have to be reiterated?
shane mosley looked like boo-boo because of who he was fighting. if that was margarito in the ring this past saturday then sugar would have looked dominant.Comment

pac's chin is at least as good as floyd's. there were questions on floyd's chin before tonight, since it'd been so long since he got clipped real good. no longer. but pac's chin has been proven in his last 2 fights too, and i don't think anybody can doubt that. sure, mosley's punches have more pop than cotto's, but pac acted like he barely felt those punches. he actually got like 3 straight uppercuts to the face against clottey and didn't seem hurt at all. in fact the only time i've seen pac really hurt in the past 3 years was when he was hit by punches he didn't see, which happened a couple times against marquez. weirdly enough, he seems more bothered by cuts than punches.he proved hes got a decent chin or better at WW but that doesnt mean u can take shots from mosley, floyd has a great chin and look at him when he got hit flush.
clottey isnt even a puncher. hes strong but hes not a puncher at all, he hit judah with his best shots repetedly and never stunned him or anything, floyd hurt judah more when he hit him. clottey doesnt have a history of knocking any top fighters out, judah was stopped on a cut. when in clotteys career has he displayed punching power? seriously have i missed something, cuz i damn sure havent seen it. eighter way he only landed like 2-3 clean shots on pac, with no history of 1 punch KOs why should pac not take those shots well?
cotto is a good puncher, but hes not a 1 punch KO artist eighter, he breaks guys down. he didnt hit manny enough to break him down or apply pressure which is what made most of his oponents fold more so than his power. he has no real history of knocking guys out with one punch, no early KOs at the top level. hes a powerful puncher dont get me wrong, but he cant be compared to mosley as far as explosive power is concerned. mosley stretched vargas with 1 punch, out of nowhere. he bombed out alot of fighters early and knocked guys out cold. cotto hasnt done that, he breaks guys down with pressure and take their heart. the old cotto anyways before his soul got knocked out by margarito.
that pac took a few shots from clottey and cotto doesnt mean he can take mosleys shots. not saying he cant take a punch, he can. but mosley is a diffrent kind of puncher compared to the guys pac fought.
all i'm saying is he survives a direct hit from mosley, the type that scared us all $#!tless in the mayweather fight round 2.Comment

i thought this was the shane mosley that fought margarito too. so i give floyd full credit for this win. i actually think the floyd that showed up last night would have beaten a younger shane too. but i think it's fair to say that 38 year old shane mosley is slower than he used to be.what do you guys mean "this version of shane mosley"? lol! that's the same damn shane mosley that fought margarito.

nah. cotto and clottey both hit pac with bombs and pac shrugged and dominated them. both floyd and pac have iron chins at welterweight. i can see pac getting hurt by a punch he didn't see, but i don't see him getting knocked out.
meanwhile, he'd be landing heavy shots on shane too.
Neither Cotto or Clottey hit as hard as Mosley. Ask Antonio Margarito. Pacquiao does not have the defense of Mayweather and he would be there to get hit against Mosley. Pacquiao would not "shrug" Mosley's powershots. Believe that.Comment
