"Im just trying to bring the fans the NEW Floyd Mayweather" I can get with that....

"Giving the fans THEIR money's worth" I can get with that too....

anyone on here who has bothered to read any of my posts on Gayweather knows my dislike for they guy...but this past Saturday he became MAYweather in my eyes...Am I a fan now?? no not really not based on one fight but at least he has given many of us something that I we can respect about the guy...

In all of my rants on Mayweather I always pointed out my dislikes...Basically the guy talks like a brawler a boxer who is gonna press the fight and look for a KO then goes on to fight "defensively" (or as I like to say...like a poossay) the second he gets taged up....

VS Shooga he talked the talk and walked the walk...

My second beef with the kat is that (by his own admission) he never cared bout anything but himself....he says *** the belts, *** the legecy, *** the sport, *** the fans....I fight for money.....

Vs Shooga he publicly stated he wanted to give THE FANS their money's worth...

By his own word he is the "new" Mayweather...time will tell if he gives us these types of fights in the future to give US our money's worth...

Vs Shooga he did more than just win a HUGE fight....he also won over a bunch of fans....or at least the didn't give us who are not fans much to talk about....

I hope for the sake of the sport the "NEW" version of Mayweather in the ring is what we see from now on....as a boxing fan I can get with that.....

I couldn't have said it any better. One fight doesn't automatically change my perception of the guy, but he definitely took some steps in the right direction on Saturday. I call it how I see it. He was the aggressor with effective defense when it called for it. Can't command things better than that.

I'll watch either style of Floyd's but it would benefit him casually to fight like he did last night...

Floyd can say what he wants, he fights everyone differently, he could stink the joint up his next fight...

You don't fight your whole career mainly defensive and switch it up for good after 40 fights...just my opinion...

Its not about starting to realize anything....its about Mayweather coming around to fight like the fighter he SHOULD have been all along.....

Pretty much. He finds the best possible way to win the fight and adjust accordingly. He clearly felt that Shane does not fight well going backwards so he pressed him.
