I know Floyd's good I'm not sure about Manny.As far as I remember he can only fight guys with sticky feet and the time he fought a boxer he was gifted a decision.Until he stops fighting guys coming off losses like Clottey I stand to be convinced.Point blank....
Floyd and Manny are just on a different level right now.
Floyd with his superb defensive skliis and counter-punching.....Manny with his offensive output and stamina.
Cotto was and still could be elite....Mosley is definately still at an elite level....
just both looked "ordinary" by Floyd and Manny....
No more excuses from either side......either take the tests, or stop the demand for it...guaranteed $50 mil for BOTH fighters at least....
P.S - Great fight on Saturday...people that say "boring"...GTFOH...Floyd has won me back over...he has FINALLY backed up all the talk, no excuses.
Manny also needs to take an Olympic style random blood test all the way to the fight night and after to prove if he's any goodComment

I just feel blessed to be alive to see two great fighter in my era, I would be able to tell my kids how great both Pacquiao and Mayweather were in their prime, Anyone that bash this two fighters really isnt a fan of our sport.Comment

So just so I can get that into perspective.....Manny has fought (in order) Hatton, who proved he wasn't shot and could handle a slick fighter in Malignaggi.....Cotto, who at the time was suppose to be the 1st real WW test for Manny (save for the 145lbs limit)....and Clottey, whose style makes anyone look bad even when the opponent wins (ex. Hopkins). Let me ask you, who could've Manny fought in place of those 3 to change your mind?
Marquez in place of Hatton? Mosley in place of Cotto? Bradley in place of Clottey?
Guarantee that even if Pacquiao fought and destoyed all 3...yes he would've TKO JMM, late TKO or UD Mosley, and destroyed Bradley....there would still be those who see Pacquiao as "not that good"....yet the opinions that matter have him placed as #1 p4p and fighter of the decade.

Couldn't have said it better....I was too young to appreciate the 70's and early 80's of boxing's glory days....yet being able to watch the footage of those fights is satisfying in itself.
I definately feel honored to have been able to watch these two greats at their craft....and be able to tell the stories of how they made "others" look ordinary...Comment

That's great news....but why do Floyd's "fans" keep bringing being the p4p king up? We all know that Floyd has the skillset to be the p4p king...yet Manny has put the work in to also be talked about in the same breath.
Just give BOTH their due and hope their fight happens....Comment
