I'm not a great Merchant fan, but he is honest and always speaks his mind. Mayweather has avoided prime opponents in the past, and did fight an old version of Mosley (which is still a good win BTW). Merchant was a little negative to Floyd in the post fight interview, which I didn't like. But hey, he speaks his mind. That is what he is supposed to do.

If anyone showed their age during that broadcast, it was Larry Merchant. I've always been a dedicated supporter of Larry, but I feel it is time for him to hang up the mic. He was very slow with his words, the pauses between statements and dazing off in between were longer this time, and his grumpyness reached a very dangerous level. You've had a great run Larry.

Yeah they need some young blood. A younger man could've asked floyd an extra 20 questions in the same amount of time.
