    What gives?

Mayweather always stays in shape even when he was retired. He probably weighed 147 when the fight was signed. I doubt if he has ever weighed 165 pounds in his life. In the past when he has weighed in on fight night, he has never gained more than 5 pounds overnight. I don't know why they didn't weigh in on fight night, but I can guarantee you that Mayweather didn't gain 13 pounds overnight.

manny weighed 150 for the clottey fight, why didnt he do a 10,000,000 per pound om himself?

clottey weighed more than him as well, and I am talking about fight night, if you dont believe me, then how about ALEX ARIZA PACNUTS MAIN MAN??

      BECAUSE MANNY IS AFRAID...

"Ariza said preparing for Clottey involved carefully monitoring Pacquiao’s body composition.

Manny had to bulk up and we wanted him to build on his muscle fiber in gaining weight without compromising his speed,” said Ariza. “We wanted Manny to bring up his power. When Manny weighed in at 145 3/4, he was just where we wanted him to be. He entered the fight weighing 150. Clottey? He probably weighed about 10 pounds more.

        Manny is the biggest hypocrite!!!!

lol exactly, manny is a hoe..... this is basically what he is saying.

I will take the blood test, but only if I am made by the commision, you see the problem with this is , if the commision says take the test he will, if floyd says take the test, he wont!!! (IS THAT A ****IN' COMPROMISE?)

If you really are willing to take a test if you are told, why not just say **** it let me take this damn test??

        BECAUSE MANNY IS AFRAID...

He told floyd take MY DEMAND OF 10,000,000 PER POUND.Floyd said okay sure I will. Floyd only wanted him to take a blood test which floyd would also be taking.

But what you guys didn't notice is that no where in the contract WERE WE TOLD that if manny came in over weight (WHICH THE MIDGET ****ER HAS ) WOULD HE BE FINED 10 MILLION DOLLARS!!! THAT WAS FOR FLOYD NOT HIM!

but you can easily see that clottey was expected to be 15 pounds overweight. I bring this up because simpletons always talk about why floyd didnt demand that MARQUEZ TAKE A BLOOD TEST, WELL why didnt pacquiao demand the 10,000,000 per pound on CLOTTEY?
        QUOTE FROM ARTICLE.
        "Fight notes:
Clottey has had 90 rounds of sparring against left-handers
Clottey could be around 15lbs heavier than Pacquiao in the ring; it may slow him if the fight goes into the later rounds"

SO MANNY DIDN'T EVEN COME IN CORRECT FOR HIS OWN DAMN MATCH!! BUT WAS GOING TO CHARGE FLOYD 10 MILLION??

AND REMEMBER CLOTTEY WAS AFTER FLOYD NEGOTIATIONS FAILED, SO THE BASTARD WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAMETHING FOR THE FLOYD FIGHT.

        DON'T RUN PACQUIAO FANS!

        DEAL WIT' IT!!

Who cares, he makes weight, that's all that matters.

Why are people so concerned with fight night weights? Does it lessen the accomplishment if he was 160?

in the post fight presser he mentioned that he stays at 147 come fight night... he says he has to at least eat 2 meals before the fight time and that his ideal fight weight would be 152... so i dunno...

Ya'll act like he blows up like Clottey or something. In reality Floyd probably doesn't blow up more than 8lbs at the most. In the De la hoya fight, it was said Floyd stepped in the ring at 148.

If/when Pac steps in the ring with Mayweather I'm guessin there might be a 5lb weight differential at most.

I think that issue was because people wanted to see the difference.

Hatton was a big JWW tbh and would have been close to Floyd.

JMM most like would be up to 10 lbs difference.

Oscar prob outweighed Floyd by quite abit also.

Mosely is a big guy and would have been slightly higher, but Floyd did look a big man in there.

You ever pay attention to fighters like Floyd and Pac lower body?No ****, they have very muscular and solid legs. SSM has a much larger trunk than Floyd but he has chicken legs. Both floyd and pac have huge calfs and Im assuming massive thighs. Even with that being said, Floyd has never weighed 160 on any fight night ever. He couldnt even make 154 to fight DLH, he was 150 ON FIGHT NIGHT!

I think its because of the lawsuit (i forget the boxer) that sued HBO becaue Gatti came in at 160 for a 130 lb fight after rehydrating. HBO was named in the suit so they stopped doing that for almost all big fights with superstars (ODh, floyd, manny).
